Founder & Visionary
My name is Jeremy Ward. I was born in Georgia, and growing up I learned early what it feels like to stand out. I was born with vitiligo, a condition that changes the color of your skin. For years, it made me feel different, but over time it taught me something powerful — that every person deserves to be seen for who they truly are.
Education became my pathway forward. I attended Prairie View A&M University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in 2018. But just months later, my life changed forever.
During that time, I started thinking deeply about young people who face obstacles every day: poverty, lack of guidance, and broken systems. I realized many are not failing because they lack talent, but because they lack support.
That realization gave birth to the Youthful Living & Learning Center.
We aren't just a shelter; we are a launchpad. Our 24-hour campus provides the infrastructure for a complete life transformation.
